On behalf of Punch taverns, the scheme for the
White Lion involved a single storey part glazed extension, with a number of roof lights.
This was to let a lot more light into a once closed and claustrophobic public house.

Existing oak feature beams were retained and protected to complete a comfortable crossover
of both the old and the new.
